THE MATHEMATICS UNDERSTANDING OF STUDENTS ORIENTED ETHNOMATHEMATICS DANCE KEJEI Postgraduate Study Program of Mathematics Education, Universitas Bengkulu Abstract The study aims to describe a mathematical understanding of junior high school oriented ethnomatematic dance kejei Rejang Lebong. The method used exploration study. The results showed that the mathematical understanding is the ability of a person to propose and reapply the knowledge obtained in the form of mathematical formulas or concepts by using his own language in solving the problem. The mathematical concept applied to kejei dance is geometry wake flat. the mathematical-oriented understanding indicator of ethnomatematic dance kejei consists of 1) Defining the concept of wake-up in verbal dance kejis dan writing, 2) Identify and make examples and examples of flat wake dampers found in kejei dance, 3) Using models and symbols to represent a the concept of waking flat on the dance kejei, 4) Changing a form of flat wake representation to another form, 5) Knowing the various meanings and interpretations of the concept of flat wake, 6) Identify the properties and recognize the conditions that determine a flat wake concept contained in dance kejei, 7) Compare and distinguish a concept of waking flat on kejei dance Keywords: Mathematical Understanding, Ethnomatematics, Kejei Dance Topic: Teaching and Learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics |
