Abstract
Elementary school students often face problems in learning mathematics, therefore it is necessary to make research on learning model that can solve the problem. This study is intended to elaborate the use of table guides method and check the video-aided learning to solve the math story problem. The method applied in this study is a quasi-experimental method with the subject of research that covers third grade students of elementary school. This study uses table guides and checks and flow tables as research instruments. The research findings indicate that this method allows students to be able to solve the story more easily. Moreover, the method of tables and checks with video can be used like a math game so that students are actively involved in learning mathematics.
