Abstract

The world of education is faced woth various challenges related to science and technology. Mastery of science and technology becomes an important key in facing emerging challenges. Science and Mathematics education as part of education plays an important role in preparing students who are able to think critically, creatively, and logically in solving problem that arise in the future. STEM learning is one of the learning alternatives that provides an opportunity for students to develop 21st century skills. Teacher as the vanguard of education should develop STEM learning design as basis for learning and improving student;s potential. The purpose of thie research to describe the development of STEM learning design by using ADDIE model in primary school especially in grade 4. The research method used in this article is reearch and development method. The researcher undertok a prelimenary study, making the development of STEM learning design using ADDIE model that has been tested by experts, then implemented in grade 4. The result obtained that STEM learning design developed to improve student learning outcomes and student learning motivation of science and mathematics subjects.
